XL watch strap 20mm black saddle leather

The black 20mm Liberty saddle leather watch strap is cut from the back of the hide, natural grain on show, white contrast stitching. This XL version adds length: it is made for strong wrists, or for wearing over a sleeve.

A leather that does not cheat

No pigment film, no printed grain: the Liberty shows the skin as it is. The back of the hide supplies the density, the rest is a matter of wearing time.

Visible white stitching

The contrast is clean: light thread on leather. This manufacturer-style topstitch is not an ornament, it holds the edges and draws the strap.

Where a strap wears out

A bare leather edge drinks water and frays. On the Liberty, edges and keepers are varnished three times by hand: the edge stays clean after years.

Our pairing suggestions

The whole width is in our Hirsch straps 20mm. The other Liberty in 20mm: Liberty light brown 20mm, Liberty dark brown 20mm. The Liberty also comes in black 20mm and, in the other widths, in 18mm and 22mm.
